New Year, New Beginnings

Well, I took the plunge and finally opened a store on etsy. It has been a week and I haven't sold anything yet but that's OK because I'm learning a lot of new things like the importance of tags and clear pictures. The chats and the virtual labs on etsy are a wealth of information. Most people there are pretty friendly and very helpful especially to new sellers. The biggest challenge I have right now is photographing my jewelry. I never knew how difficult it was to do because you want to make sure you show detail without having blurry pictures. All in all it has been a worth while experience.

I also finished my new website. I found a great place online to make a flash website and I love it. It's called Wix and you can also make myspace layouts. Making a photo gallery is so much easier to do with it. If you haven't already, check out my website.
